My ALS Journey (24/n): Cippi’s World Tour

Many of you want to get in touch with Cippi. So here is a brief overview of her travel plans for 2025.

Cippi’s World Tour in 2025

These are the C++ conferences that Cippi will be attending.

C++ Conferences

If you would like Cippi to visit your conference, please send an email to rainer.grimm@ModernesCpp.de.

For those who are unfamiliar with Cippi, here is all the information in a nutshell.

Cippi

Hi, I am Cippi: curious, clever, and – yes – feminine!

“You’re probably wondering who I am and why I am here? The reason is simple. Since Rainer can no longer attend C++ conferences in person, I will represent him during his travels on his behalf. So you will meet me, Cippi, at future C++ conferences!”

What should you do?

As Cippi is Rainer’s representative, please describe your special encounter with her. He is particularly interested in when and where you met Cippi. It would be especially nice if you take a photo with her. Let your imagination run wild!

How does it work?

To make it easier to publish your story, a QR code is available on Cippi. After scanning the code, you will be directed to a form where you can leave your name, message, and take a photo or video with Cippi.

    A few Words about Me

    In a few days, it will be my birthday, and I will be 59 years old. Before my ALS diagnosis, this was not a significant event for me. However, this has completely changed. Now, I celebrate every birthday and am delighted to have gained another year despite ALS.
