Electric wheelchair<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
I now have my electric wheelchair. It can be steered with a kind of joystick. My carers must do this because I can no longer operate the joystick. This is not an easy task as the chair weighs 190 kilos. In the next few weeks, the electric wheelchair will be equipped with an eye control system, which I look forward to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.modernescpp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/lift-.png\")

Unfortunately, I can no longer take a step and use a mobile lift. With this, we managed to get from the bed to the electric wheelchair and onto the shower chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I operate my computer with two mice and my voice. Windows Access works very well in English but has some problems in German, so it is almost unusable. For example it does not recognize control commands such as unten or Raster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the next weeks, I will experiment with eye tracking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
